Packing & Sending a Case
Follow the steps outlined below to ensure safe delivery of your cases:
- Print and fill out a Bayshore RX Form
- Pack your impressions and models, using bubble wrap or other cushioning material
- Print your pre-paid UPS label
- Need supplies? Contact us and we will send a package with everything you need.

Send Your Digital Impressions
Follow the instructions outlined below for your office’s scanner. If your scanner is not listed, or you need any assistance, please call us at 877-954-6243.
- Complete the scan of the patient.
- Select Bayshore Dental Studio from the drop-down menu.
- Click Send.

- Visit ddxdental.com.
- Sign up as a Dental Practice.
- In the “add lab” section, search Bayshore Dental Studio and request account.
- Select “Find a Lab” option on your scanner.
- Search for either Bayshore Dental Studio or scan@bayshoredentalstudio.com.
- Add Bayshore Dental Studio.
- Select Bayshore Dental Studio when submitting scans.

- Select “Find a Lab” option on your scanner.
- Search for either Bayshore Dental Studio or designs@bayshoredentalstudio.com.
- Add Bayshore Dental Studio.
- Select Bayshore Dental Studio when submitting scans.

- Go to us.3shapecommunicate.com in your web browser.
- Browse to and click the “connections” button.
- Ensure “Show me Labs” is checked if available.
- Connect with Bayshore Dental Studio as Lab by searching mail@bayshoredentalstudio.com.
- Call the lab 877-954-6243 to let us know a 3Shape Trios request has been sent.
- After connecting to us as a Lab, select Bayshore Dental Studio when sending files.

- Create or Login to your Sirona CEREC Connect account.
- Select “MY CEREC CONNECT” and click “Edit Account”.
- Under My Account, select “My Favorite Laboratories”.
- Type “Bayshore Dental Studio” in the box for Company Name and “33602” in the zip code field.
- Click FIND.
- Check the box to the bottom left for “Bayshore Dental Studio”.
- Click ADD to complete the registration.
- When sending cases, select Bayshore Dental Studio.

- Log into your Medit Link account at www.meditlink.com.
- Under “Partner” search us by email scan@bayshoredentalstudio.com and request partnership.
- To send us cases, select Bayshore Dental Studio.

- Call and request to connect with Bayshore through Itero.
- Provide Itero ID #9384.
- Itero will make the connection.
- Start a new Rx. After entering the patients name and case type, select Bayshore Dental Studio from the Ship To menu.
- After scanning, press the envelope icon, add signature and press confirm and send.

- Scan & Save the Case.
- Locate & highlight the case Patient Data under the CAD/CAM category on the left side of the screen.
- Click Create Lab Order on the top right of the screen & save (will create PDF).
- Click Cloud Export on the top right of the screen.
- Choose Create new case, send to: Digital@bayshoredentalstudio.com.
- Select Send to Another PlanMeca Romexis user.
- Click Select Images to attach STLs/PLYs, and attach the Lab Order (Rx).
- Click Update Case.
- Click Send, window will close once the case has been sent.

- Log into your Medit Link account at www.meditlink.com .
- Under “Partner” search us by email scan@bayshoredentalstudio.com and request partnership.
- To send us cases, select Bayshore Dental Studio.

Compatible with All Intraoral Scanners
- Select date request and click OK
- Select Bayshore Dental Studio
- Add your notes:
- Implant system
- Implant diameter
- Restoration
- Preferences
- Select Bayshore, return date and time
- Confirm order and submit

Doctors with a Trios scanner can send scans directly to Bayshore Dental Studio through 3Shape Communicate.
Dentists should be registered with a 3Shape Communicate account when the scanner is installed If Bayshore Dental Studio is not pre-installed on the list of available labs, send a Connection Request from your communicate account to Bayshore Dental Studio.
NOTE: Dentists can register themselves at http://portal.3shapecommunicate.com.
Bayshore Dental Studio will respond that the lab is TRIOS ready to receive your scans.
After selecting the patient’s name, press New Session.
- After selecting the patient’s name, press New Session.
- The lab list will appear, select Bayshore Dental Studio
- Complete the order form information. In the Comments section, specify what materials
- Complete the scanning process and press the Send Order envelope icon
- On the Send Order screen, verify the case information and scans and press Send Order

Doctors with an Itero scanner can send scans directly to Bayshore Dental Studio through Itero.
To Send a File
- Add Bayshore Dental Studio by calling Itero support 800-577-8767
- Start a new Rx. After entering the patient name and case type, select Bayshore Dental Studio from the Ship To menu
- After scanning, press the Envelope icon, add signature and press Confirm and Send

Doctors using Cerec Intra-oral scanning systems can send scans directly to Bayshore Dental Studio through Cerec Connect
To Send a File
- Create an account on www.sirona-connect.com. Follow the prompts for activating the account (if you already have an account proceed to step 3).
- After activating your account, log in and add Bayshore Dental Studio to the list of Favorite Laboratories.
- Log into your Cerec software and scan the patient.
- After completing the scan and marking the margin, proceed to the Connect step and enter the login information.
- Review your order and restoration information. Click Enter Order Data.
- When the upload is complete, select Bayshore Dental Studio and the desired return date.
- Click Add Additional Information and enter the gender, age and comments. Attach any additional files to the case
- Review information and click Submit Cart
- Enter your username and password and then the case submission is complete.
- Press “Export and Send Buccal Bite Case (.stl)” icon
- Fill out patient information and payment details
- Check “Save and Email your STL Files”
- Click “Submit Case”
- Enter email, Press “Upload Files & Send Email”
- Forward email to scan@bayshoredentalstudio.com

Doctors with a Carestream scanner can send scans directly to Bayshore Dental Studio through CS Connect or Direct Email.
To Send a File
- Complete the scan and open the patient’s case in the DIS software.
- Through the file button in the upper right corner of the patient history window, select History by clicking the book icon.
- After highlighting the 3DIO folder, click the Send to button located toward the lower right corner of the window. The STL files will now be saved to the desktop
To Submit to NDX Albensi using CS Connect
- After highlighting the appropriate 3DIO file from step 3, click the CS Connect button. The web portal will open to the log in screen
- Log into CS Connect
- From the dropdown menu, select Bayshore Dental Studio
- Attach files by clicking browse and selectin the DCM file from the patient’s folder; then click open
- Add any pertinent information regarding the case to the comment box.
- Accept the terms and conditions by checking the box and clicking Submit
